Of Spiders, Administrators, and the Philosophy of Writing

Good morning, folks. How’s things? I’m writing this on Tuesday, as in the wee hours of Wednesday morning we have to get my wife up and get her to the hospital where they’re going to replace her left knee joint. We hope this will go smoothly and restore some mobility, but this post must be constructed before we know anything, so time-travel fans be aware that I’m coming to you from the past.

  1. It’s unfortunate that Writers’ Forum is trying to become a politically partisan platform. I’m with you regarding my own inclinations, but I don’t think that should be the purpose of a writers’ forum. As for censorship, well, there’s always a bit of that, isn’t there? At least where what one defines as pornography is concerned – but I think that’s mostly a good thing, especially of course if illegal exploitation is involved. There are audiences for that sort of thing, but those folks don’t need to be able to find it here.
