Face-off

Good morning, horror fans, and I hope you find a good scare before the day is over. This month, once again, I bring you my latest pencil drawing. I was considering several different titles for it, but my grandpa took one look and said, “Face-off,” so Face-off it is.

In the drawing a young lady literally removes her face in an obviously painful act of extreme violence. What could have driven her to this? Is she possessed? Is she trying to remove the demon? Or does she have other reasons? Is it fear of change or is she trying to affect change to those around her? The clouds behind her represent idyllic surroundings, a stark contrast to the agony in the foreground.

I’m learning the requirements of the cover; the space at the bottom is left for title and author, and perhaps a tag line to draw the prospective reader in. Should anyone wish to talk about covers or illustrations, the comment section below would be a good place to start, or for more privacy, the Contact page is always available. I look forward to hearing your thoughts. Happy screaming!
