Thursday Night - January 18, 2007 Mini Workshop ATCs—Artist Trading Cards---are original miniature works of art made to be traded with other artists. The size is the only rule—2-1/2" x 3-1/2" (similar to baseball cards). You can design them with any materials (fabric, clay, paper, metal, etc) and embellish them in any way you like. We will start with fabric fused to batting and collage fabric scraps and images, finish the edges and then attach a cardstock backing that can be signed and dated. You may add machine and/or hand stitching. We will show some samples and give some general directions so you can create a card---or a stack of them---to trade through the weekend. |
